OUR CAMPS

No Experience Necessary

Next Cast Academy is designed for all skill levels, including complete beginners.

Many campers are trying fly fishing for the first time.

Our mentors guide each child step-by-step, ensuring they feel supported, capable, and confident from day one.

Over the course of 3–4 days, participants are immersed in a skill-based fly fishing experience designed to build true confidence on the water.

They learn how to rig their own equipment, tie foundational knots, and choose flies based on real-time conditions. Through hands-on exploration, they gain an understanding of entomology, fish identification, and how to read water.

Daily instruction focuses on casting technique, setting the hook, and the full process of landing, netting, and releasing fish with care.

By the end of camp, participants develop the ability to rig themselves confidently for the water, building a level of independence and self-sufficiency that extends beyond the experience.
